Introduction: Once upon a time, There is a woman's kingdom, between Yunnan and Sichuan also called Eastern Tibetan area, The woman's kingdom exited from 7 century, the queen in charge of the country, and she is incredible beautiful, all the women from this country is pretty as well, they live along a beautiful valley in a matriarchy society.

In history, the woman’s kingdom area is huge, is between Tang and Tibet, and they fled to west of Sichuan by war, Nowadays, in the place called Danba, west of Sichuan there is the relics of the queen's castle, very tall, you can imagine how prosper it was, and the beautiful saint mountain surround. And the entire women they are pretty with elegant dressing. There are also Tibetan people, 

Bon is the indigenous pre-Buddhist faith of Tibet, Bon blends the shamanistic sprit worship of rivers, mountains, and trees with a veneer of Tibetan Buddhism, flowers of Bon are most easily recognized by the fact that they walk anticlockwise. The saint mountain: Moerduo is the symbolize of Bon, in Tibetan language means lady god.

In nowadays, along the Xianshui river area: Daofu, and Luhuo, Danba, there still exists the matriarchal system, which are the relics from the ancient Woman’s Kingdom. This is the only place in China that still abides by this system.

Women are the top leaders of the community's extensive families, and all family members are descendants of the same woman. There are no husbands and fathers here - lovers meet at night but live separately with their own mother's families by day. Children are under the care of and supported by their maternal families and adopt the surname of the mothers.  All families are composed of the members of the matrilineal kin. Women operate production and management, and hold the principal position in the society, forming a modern day 'woman's kingdom', which adds mystique to this place.

Also in Northeast of Yunnan, a romantic place called Lugu Lake; Lugu Lakehouses the Mosuo ethnic and the last practicing matriarchal society in the world; is known for its peculiar natural scenery and the Matriarchal saint mountain: Gemu, and dating centre for lovers.

Itinerary

zhongdia-xiangcheng-Daocheng-Yading-Litang-Tagong-Danba-Kangding-Ya’an-Chengdu

Day 1 Zhongdian to Xiangcheng.

Xiangcheng is a small Tibetan town, there is a big and beautiful monastery, if we are lucky we can see the monks exciting argument .

Day 2 Xiangcheng to Riwa to Daocheng.

We take a long trip to Daocheng, to a small country side village,  enjoy the hot spring there, and the Tibetan home stay ,  in the morning, we trek to the small mountain nearby, enjoy the peaceful scenery, and the high grass land of Tibetan village, enjoy the Tibetan dancing and horse riding.

Day 3 Yading

Yading is the highlight of this journey because of the Yading nature reserve, home of three sacred Tibetan mountains - Chenresig (Avalokitesvara, 6,032m), Jambeyang (Manjusri, 5,958m), and Chanadorje (Vajrapani, 5,958m). Tibetan Buddhists believe that making a Kora (pilgrimage) around these mountains brings great merit and that the three mountains represent compassion, wisdom and energy - attributes that one must cultivate on the path to enlightenment. Today, we start our exploration in the Yading area and then traverse about three hours through a beautiful wooded pathway leading to a valley set at the foot of the spectacular Mount Chanadorje. We'll also visit Tshonggo Gonpa - a small Tibetan temple, which Joseph Rock nicknamed 'Bandit Monastery'. We will continue our hike to the foot of Mount Chenresig, where we'll ascend a small but steep hill to view a beautiful mountaintop emerald green lake. Local lore has it that this magical lake can reveal your future. If time and energy permits, we could take a short hike to explore around the rest of the area. In the afternoon, we ride back to Yading village and then drive to Riwa where we can take a hot shower after our day of horse riding.

Day 4 Yading to Lithang

We go to Litang, Litang is claimed to be the highest city of the world, sitting at an altitude of 4,050m (13,285ft). It is also the home town of 7thDalai Lama and several other living Buddhas. Much of this afternoon will be spent casually exploring the town and acclimatising to the high altitude. Today, we enjoy a whole day in Lithang. In the morning, we visit the Chang-Qing-Chun-Ke'er-Si monastery, the largest monastery in Western Sichuanand now home to 1,400 Gelukpa monks; try the typical Tibetan food.

Day 5 Tagong

we visit Tagong, the small Tibetan highland, it is beautiful and we stay nearby the monastery, the Tagong monastery looks the same as the Johang temple in Lhasa, there is a 12 years old Buddha Sakyameny statue there, the legend tells that in Tang dynasty (7centry AD) when the Princess Wencheng went to the Tibetan to marry with King Songzanganbu had been there, the Buddha status became huge heavy, and didn’t want to move, so the people built a replica instead.

Day 6 Danba.

Danba is well-known for the spectacular watchtower groups where the queen’s of woman’s kingdom palace set up... After arrived Danba, we stay in the pretty Tibetan village Jiaju where we will enjoy beautiful home stay,in the next day's early morning,we will Visit Zhonglu Tibetan village, stay the Tibetan home stay,from where we did hike up the mountain Visit the relics of woman's kingdom, mysterious ancient stone Qiang watchtowers, and the mystical story about the old eastern woman’s kingdoms, and we will still see the relics of palace there. Visit the Moerduo monastery, the one is worshiped as the symbolize of lady god.

Day 7 Kangding.

Kangding is well-known throughout China for a popular Kangding Love Song. While travelers are more allured by the stunning scenery in the vicinity consisting of snowy mountains, sweeping grasslands, glaciers and monasteries, as well as it’s unique Khampa charm hailing from mixed cultures. For centuries, the town has been the trade center of the Han and Tibetan cultures. The central streets bustle with trading activity. It's also the traffic hub of westSichuan and the gateway to Tibet. We will visit the Monastery and lake there.

Day 8 Drive to Chengdu.

On the way we will see mountain: Minya konka

Minya konka straddling in the rugged western part of Sichuan and towering to a height of 7,556 m, Mt. Minya Konka ("Gongga Shan"in Chinese) is the highest mountain of Hengduan Range and claimed as the 'King of Sichuan Mountains”.It offers stunning scenery, abundant vegetations, full-bodied Tibetan culture and adventurous trekking routes. Mt. Gongga is a sacred mountain to the Tibetans.

We will arrive Chengdu at night, stay in a comfortable hotel.
